ManuelAntonioPark.cr is an independent tourism information guide for Manuel Antonio National Park, Costa Rica. We are not affiliated with SINAC, the Costa Rican government, or any tour operator.

2. What Information We Collect

We collect minimal information, and only what is necessary to operate this site:

• Email address — only if you voluntarily submit it via our guide notification form (currently inactive). We do not sell, share, or rent your email to any third party.
• Usage data — through Google Analytics 4 (GA4), we collect anonymized information about how visitors interact with this site, including pages visited, time on site, and general geographic region. No personally identifiable information is collected through analytics.
• Cookies — Google Analytics uses cookies to distinguish visitors and measure site usage. These are analytics cookies only. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To notify you when our certified guide directory becomes available (if you submitted your email)
• To understand how visitors use the site and improve the content
• To measure the reach and effectiveness of our pages

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any commercial purpose beyond operating this informational site.

4. Google Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to collect anonymized usage statistics. Google may process this data on servers outside Costa Rica. Google's privacy policy is available at policies.google.com/privacy.

You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

This site contains links to external websites including SINAC (sinac.go.cr) and other tourism resources. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before submitting any personal information.

6. Data Retention

Email addresses collected through our notification form are retained until you request removal or the guide directory launches and you have been notified. Analytics data is retained according to Google's standard retention settings (14 months by default).

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Request access to any personal data we hold about you
• Request deletion of your email from our notification list at any time
• Opt out of analytics tracking

8. Children's Privacy
